I wish we had a tight end who could run deeper routes.
I saw no motion fakes like the three previous opponents had done.
We threw deep passes only twice.
The interceptions were due to receiver being hit and thown the ball up in the air.
We did not chase down the interceptors worth beans.
The refs were screwed up several times.
The fourth down fake actually looked like a bad spot against us. The real problem was the runner kept trying to get around end and all he had to do was stop and dive for the first down. Obviously bad choice on his part cost us at a key time.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style.
This team is appearing to be more and more like the Colorado of last year. The Buffs lost a lot of games last year, sure, but a lot of the losses were close. Barring a miracle, they won't be bowling this year, but I'd be content with 4-8 this year, and ecstatic with 5-7.
