Sandvig - Knee injuries and out for the year
My Dad is good friends with the Sandvigs' grandpa and he says both kids tore ACLs within days of each other and are out for the year. One did it in a game, the other earlier in practice. Anyway, sounds like surgery for both is happening this week...

Re: Knee injuries and out for the year
Too bad, didn't Alex have an ACL last year as well? I hope he'll be able to play well.

How odd that both would have that happen. Or, maybe not.

Re: Sandvig - Knee injuries and out for the year
Thats absolutely terrible that both boys had knee injuries. Like Vince Lombardi used to say "Its always the KNEE!"
Here's hoping for successful surgery and a complete recovery for both of the sandvig boys!!!
I gotta tell ya boys I hate to think about the Texas Tech game since I have a cousin who works for Texas Tech ... I imagine he will be at the game....
Come on Cyclones PULL AN UPSET GUYS!!!!!

I assume Dr. Greenwald will be performing the surgeries. He'll assure them a full recovery.
The campaign starts now. November 6, 2012. -

Yes, it would be either Greenwald or Buck.

I was at the game and it looked that way when the trainers were looking at him on the sidelines. He was showered and on crutches before halftime.

I had an ACL reconstruction done by Greenwald and am completely happy, therefore I'm sure the boys will have a good recovery.
