The biggest reason that any blue chip recruit will sign with ISU this year is because they can see immediate playing time on a Big 12 squad with a coach that is up and coming. I don't think any recruit will lose respect for GC if we played a young guy while we were still in the game.
So your saying we will not be in any game towards the end of the game? How can you determine that? I could of told you the outcome of the TT game. No one can slow them down. Even Chizik's Five star defense last year couldn't hold them under 500 yards. Why be negative?? If we are in a dog fight, I want Meyer cause he gives us the best chance for a win. I'm all for the young guys to play, but I'm still wanting some wins. You can't completely throw this season away. These players don't want to throw this season away. Why would/should the Sr class want to play the rest of the season with those conditions? They deserve more then that.
I agree that big time talent will come if they want immediate playing time. But I doubt they would even want to play for someone that throws away the season halfway through.
