Wallace

Seems to be getting more time on offense. He had one rush for 11 yards and was in on a handful of plays at receiver running routes (no catches).

I didn't watch too much of that game, but seems his time is increasing.

Re: Wallace

It was mostly due to Hasselbeck being completely ineffective verses the Steelers D. I think he got the last 2 3&outs of the game.

Re: Wallace

As I look closer at the box score, that in fact seems to be the case. He was 1/3 in passing as well.

I did see him as a receiver on 3 consecutive plays earlier in the game. I switched as it got out of hand.

Re: Wallace

The really impressive QB -> WR transition has been Brad Smith of the Jets. I didn't see the game, but the CBS Sportsline game tracker stats were mentioning him all day long.

I think he ended with ~ 50 yrds and a touch.

Re: Wallace

Yup...Smith has been impressive - looking at stats. I'll have to remember to catch some of the next Jets game. While he was playing for one of our rivals, he was fun to watch. Especially in his last collegiate game - that bowl game.
