This is something they do for every game.
I've seen them in the middle of the season. The guy just sits there and waits. Finally a lady or two will come over and give him a kiss.
He's usally up in the cheap seats by himself. |

Any team that features a Kiss Cam to entertain fans between innings should have their license to play baseball revoked.

That's funny but even as a Cubs fan I don't blame Steve Bartman. He did what every fan around him was doing by reaching for that ball and everyone around him should be grateful to this day that it wasn't them that touched it else their name and face would forever be made fun of. The really sad thing about that was when they found out who he was, what he did, etc. that he was as big of a Cubs fan as you and I are and had a perfectly normal life.
Check out the wiki page on him: Steve Bartman - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia he could have turned this into a payday by accepting deals to come on talk shows or do a movie and was even offered a job by the Marlins and turned it all down. It also says he has given numberous gifts to Ron Santo's Diabetes Foundation. It's sad he'll forever be associated with the Cubs curses because in reality he was a good guy who just happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. He wasn't the reason they lost that series.
Alex Gonzalez was the bigger goat (no pun intended) as the next play he booted what should have been the inning-ending double play hit right at him yet no one talks about that or how Prior and Wood pitched games 6 and 7 and they still blew a 3-1 series lead with their best 2 pitchers on the mound. |
