Unfortunately I won't be there... I have to go to a wedding :frown:
From most non-CF posting Cyclone fans I have talked to, the usual "here we go again" feeling hasn't quite set in. There is still a sense of optimisim...or rather a feeling of "lets stick it out and hope it gets better." But that might not be (and probably isn't) consistant accross the fanbase. Still, I have a feeling that we'll see 50,000+ at Jack Trice Stadium against Texas. I haven't seen the forecast for this weeked, but so far this month has been un-seasonably warm, so I would expect good weather for the game.
I heard on the radio they are expecting 51K to 52K.
We will be in section A3/B4 tailgating... who else is over on that side?
I was expecting a good crowd on Saturday also but judging from stubhub it doesn't look too good. There are a ton of tickets for sale, some looking like whole rows up for grabs. Don't know how accurate it is but still.
cannot make the trip back from STL this weekend, but did the diligent thing and gave my tickets to some fans to cheer in my place!
I will, however, be at the bar by 11:30 to start a marathon drinking/CFB watching day with an eclectic mix of fans - some Mizzou, some Illinois, some Indiana, and 1 CYCLONE! GO CYCLONES!!!
Well at least you all can be friends for one Saturday. All 4 teams have a good chance at being winners, some more than others (we just won't say who.). But really though 1-0 on TV, the money line is the same +750 for us, I think the stars are lining up.
Price is Right - I bid 52,013.
On the pre-game radio show last Sat JP said we had sold just over 50,000 for Texas and just under 50,000 for Oklahoma, so I'm guessing 51,872. We are awesome fans, kudos to everyone, go clones!!!
