Attendance Saturday
Anyone have an idea of what we are looking at for Saturday. I would love to see 55,000 like we had for UNI, but not sure if we will get that. Any predictions or knowledge of what we can expect?
This team needs our support! Some people think fans can't make a difference, but they can...including helping with our recruiting! Recruits love to see an excited fan base, lets give them one this Saturday.

Re: Attendance Saturday
I think I heard on the call in show they were expecting about 51,000 for the game saturday.
We all need to be there to throw out tons of support to these players and coaches so they all know how much we appreciate their hard work, dedication and the improvements they have shown for most of the season.

Re: Attendance Saturday
I'm gonna go with about 47,000 as the official attendance.

Well considering that I have personally talked to every single season ticket holder.. I have a feeling we will have somewhere over 45,000 to 52,000. Seriously there is no way to guess this. I can see some extra people with family weekend, but still not 55,000. However, I think you will see more people then the Iowa game and probably the Kent State game.
Plus with the early kickoff maybe some extra people that would nomally tailgate will come in.

Re: Attendance Saturday
The weather looks good, the smell of football and fall on a crisp October Saturday...I can't wait...it has been way too long!

Re: Attendance Saturday
I cant wait to get back to JTS and bringing a rookie with.

Re: Attendance Saturday
It's Texas, so I think that should help out, and I wouldnt expect less then 50K.

Re: Attendance Saturday
I wish the game was a 2:30 kickoff... I extremely miss tailgating. They certainly don't know how to have fun in Iowa City when I was over there for the Indiana game.
I just hope that people show up. Be loud. Have fun. Hopefully, if we do our part the team will do their part.
Plus, JTS looks great on TV with a big crowd. Watching the end of the Iowa game on Vs you would swear there was more people in the stands then what there was. Absolutely awesome to see.

Re: Attendance Saturday
For those of us that are too far away to make it to all the games (I did make it back for UNI and Iowa)... please, please, PLEASE go and cheer your brains out for our Cyclones.
We'll be watching.... -
Re: Attendance Saturday
If there is less than 50K, that's sad...The record isn't great, but come on people. How many times can you tailgate and go see the Cyclones live in an entire year? Time to Pack the Jack yet again! C'yall outside and inside JTS on saturday!

We'll be there...for what that's worth -
Re: Attendance Saturday
I'll be there of course.
And I'm guessing we'll see 53,501.

Re: Attendance Saturday
During the Chizik call in show just prior to the Iowa game, Pollard indicated they had already sold 49K + tickets for Oklahoma and Texas.
I am confident the ticket sales will be 52K+. Hopefully everyone shows up.
Just remember there will be recruits there as well. It is imperative we make a good impression on them as well.

Re: Attendance Saturday
my official Nostradamus-like forecast is 51,128... no, wait wait, it's harvest time, 51,097. If Texas were 2-0 in the big 12 instead of 0-2, it would be 51,257, but some of their supporters are unhappy me thinks and would rather stay in Austin instead of making the trip to Ames.
I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. Thomas Jefferson, 1802
