a little something to get everyone pumped for thursday!
the following pictures were taken this afternoon in what was an early grass lot session. The pictures include me (rocking the ennis haywood jersey on occasion) j4state (blue athletic shorts) and a couple of our other friends. We are completely pumped for thursday and hope a few of you guys can come swing by our tailgate and shoot the *****. Just look for Pancho Villa (the van in the pic) and our team wop tshirts. Hope these pics get you guys in the mood and we hope to see some CF members stop by and have a brew! Go State!

Yeah well, ya know, that's just, like uh, your opinion, man. -
well, Pancho Villa was completely random. My brother and I were working on it a few weeks ago, and something just dawned on me that the van should be called Pancho Villa (he was a Mexican revolutionary/bandit that lead several raids into New Mexico in the 1910's or so). Team Wop comes from the name of a drink that we serve alot when we throw parties/tailgate. It consists of beer, lemonade concentrate, and vodka. It sounds gross, but its awesome. Basically we wanted to refer to ourselves with a term we knew no one else was going to, and thus we decided on Team Wop. A slight inside joke, I guess.

Beer and vodka sounds like a wonderful concoction.

So you are aware that Villa was an enemy of the US, but did you know that the term 'wop' is an ethnic slur?

The point is that it's all in the name of ISU football, fans, and tailgating so quit interrogating, it's pointless!

wow... someone is seriously offended we named a van after Pancho Villa. ******, we didnt name it Osama Bin Laden. As far as "wop" being an ethnic slur, i have never heard it used as an ethnic slur. The drink got its name because it "wops" (ie knocks) you on your *****. Some people just like to get pissy about everything don't they?

From dictionary.com: wop /wɒp/Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[wop]Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation –noun Slang (disparaging and offensive ). an Italian or a person of Italian descent.

It has to do more with those fantastical muffin-gangsta photos posted with delicious style above....I mean really now....do you have to literally shovel the tang' out the door every morning? I do hear the squishy sounds eminating from moist office chairs of every female that strolls upon the site...classic
