I have been saying this for a while. Let's not even put anyone back there, rush 11!

That very critical part of the game from when the ball is put into play, until the ref blows the whistle.....

i know there things that fit into each category that we need to work on, but by the close proxemity of the poll it really looks like we just need to work on being a team or improving as a team as no category is that far ahead of each one. I feel a lot of these struggles are because of the new coach and players not fitted for his system.

Def line play, get some pressure on the qb and stop letting people complete 80% of their passes.

Play Iowa every week ... we won't get any better but we'll improve our record in bowl games since we all know every time we play Iowa, it's our bowl game!!!

I've never seen a team have so many fumbled snaps that the QB cannot fall on.

    None of the Above

Blocking, Blocking, Blocking. I think all of our problems on offense come down to this. With better blocking, Meyer would have more time to find open receivers, our running backs would get more yards per carry, and so on.

    Kickoff coverage:
Really our D is not that bad... and if we pin the othe team at the20 or less we will see the ball more and we will have field position.. with that said we have to be able to move the ball a little bit.. but back to the D pin them deep enough and force a turn over and the team will be looking pretty good
Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative.

ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other."

Re: Football - What do we need to do better to improve the most

I say snaps of all types. It is on function and involves one player, so it should be the easiest to solve. How many turnover from bad snaps has ISU had this year? 4 or 5? That is more than most teams have in 3 years. It is just embarrassing.
