Greg Robinson was the Def Corr at Texas and became the head coach at Syracuse. I read through some of his bio and he has some similarity to Gene. Even played linebacker in college!
I pray that this is not a bad omen! 
Maybe I am just so damn dazed after that Texas buzzsaw I can see strait!

Greg Davis was with Mack Brown all the way back to Tulane. Then took over for a while, not a valid comparison due to the fact that Gene coached at many places.
