Stadium supervisor conversation on Saturday.

I have been wanting to post this but I have been staying away from the football threads because of all the whining going on Chizik's first year and don't want to puke on my computer. But, now that Nebraska has got our attention for now, I thought I would post about a conversation I had with a Jack Trice stadium supervisor on Saturday.....

I was sitting in my seat about 45 minutes before kickoff and some of the stadium employees were using squeegies(sp) to push the water to the drains on the upper deck to get rid of water puddles. There supervisor walks over to me and proceeds to tell me that they have to do this because when they engineered the stadium, they put the drains on the upper deck so it drains out somewhere where it could be a safety hazard. He then proceeds to say the idiot engineer was an ISU graduate. Then he goes off on a rant about how much he dislikes Pollard because of allowing 8,000 EIU fans to buy season tickets and now we sit empty on games days besides EIU. He then says that Pollard is a greedy ***** who thinks of noone but himself. I told him he is smoking crack if he thinks 8,000 EIU fans bought tickets and that Pollard was a genius in my book. So then he says even though Pollard says he wouldn't sell single tickets he obviously did. Finally I asked the D-bag if he was a Pukeye fan and he gave me a dirty look and walked off since he knew he wasn't going to blow smoke up my arse. What the heck kind of service people do they hire for game days anyways. That was 100% idiot who was a supervisor for crying out loud.

Did he look at the crowd Saturday. I was pleasantly surprised at the attendance (at least to start) given the season thus far, the opponent and the weather.

I thought those people were working off their community service requirements
