Do not support Jon Miller's advertisers
Get him off the air... call advertisers and tell them you won't buy their products... he's making it Hawkeye radio...

Re: Do not support Jon Miller's advertisers
They tried that with ***** too when he turned it into Cyclone radio....

Re: Do not support Jon Miller's advertisers
I think that is a bit extreme but that one commercial when he uses some lame austrailian accent makes me want to jerk the wheel of my car into a ditch.

Re: Do not support Jon Miller's advertisers
There is no where in his contract that says he has to talk about the Cyclones. Its Hawk talk because Zabel put him there for it after Steve D moved to WHO. So do what you want. I'm sure they won't fire him. The only way they would do that is if everyone stopped listening to him.
Miller will talk Cyclone talk if there was something to talk about, or if people call or email him something Cyclone related.
I also hate to mention, if Hawk fans couldnt get the previous person off the air, how lucky will we be trying to get that done. Remember, we have a smaller fan base then the Hawks. I'm sure they wouldn't hurt much if the rest of us 10 Cyclone fans stopped listening to that show considering most don't listen to him.

Re: Do not support Jon Miller's advertisers
Why do people get worked up over him so much? If you can't stand him, stop listening to the show. It's as easy as pushing one button.

Re: Do not support Jon Miller's advertisers
Easiest way to shut him up is to beat Oklahoma.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -
Re: Do not support Jon Miller's advertisers
If you don't like his show, just don't listen.

Re: Do not support Jon Miller's advertisers
What did he say that has everyone's panties so in a bunch? Sounds like he is doing his job...You all are talking about him.

Trust me, quit listening. Since I put a new stereo in my car that connects to my iPod I haven't listened to ONE SECOND of KXNO. Heck, in my 25 minute commute you could always count on 15 minutes of commercials anyway.

It's fall and leaves are everywhere. I can't give up my leaf guard gutter system now.

Re: Do not support Jon Miller's advertisers
You know your football team is having a crappy season when the fans are obsessed over what someone, who is a fan of our rival, says on a radio program.
Just sayin'...

Re: Do not support Jon Miller's advertisers
The only thing on KXNO I listen to is Rome and Marty & Miller. I haven't listened to Miller in months, but let me guess he was talking about the Hawks and how they turned the corner on Saturday and how they are bowl bound. If it wasn't for Zook making a couple bone headed coaching decisions, and the Illinois QB throwing a pick on the 10 yard line, Iowa would be the same pathetic team they were last week.

Re: Do not support Jon Miller's advertisers
How embarrassing for you that you'd be so insecure that you'd call for a boycott of advertisers for a freakin' sports talk radio show.
When Hawk fans were saying the same thing about *****, I just chalked it up to typical juvenile Hawk banter. Please don't lower yourself to that level.
