If Chizik was 6-1, you'd be hearing how DM recruited monstrous talent to ISU, how it was a travesty that DM had to resign, and how Chizik walked into DM's well-oiled machine and hadn't really done anything. That's just the way it goes in much of the Iowa media...

Come on guys. Lets move on. I believe the whole point of this thread was to say he wanted to support Mac in his new endeavors. Good for him. If you dont agree, just move on to a different thread. There is no reason to argue in here or pick on each other. The topic isnt even debatable. Thats what the political and other opinion threads are for.

The point of the post is to graphically explain the absolute gullibility of Cyclone fans. The fact that people, such as yourself, come on here absolutely complaining about the product on the field now. The fact that the previous coach is mostly responsible, due to in adequate recruiting over many YEARS.

So instead of being upset at this guy for doing this to us, we have people..........nevermind, it's pointless.

I could basically say anything and somebody will go off on me for rooting against the clones. It makes no sense. This has nothing to do with Iowa State or Gene Chizik, Todd Blythe, Brett Meyer or anyone freakin else. It has to do with Rooting for S. Florida because our old coach (a good guy) is finally getting to coach on a team that is winning and ranked second in the country. This post has nothing to do with any of the following

1. The talent left at Iowa State
2. Coach Chizik and or his assistants
3. Brett Meyer or Todd Blythe.
4. Iowa State Special team
5. Upcomming football or basketball recruits.
6. Politics
7. Austin Flynns Girlfriend
8. The Iowa Hawkeyes
9. Nebraska
10. Jamie Polard

So if you try and spin it any other way. Your wrong. It's a simple post about a guy that I am friends with and want Clone fans to support his new team.

Yeah, him going to USF to be their d-line coach is really like him metaphorically beating us in the face. The only way that statement holds any water at all is if you thought he was going to take us to the (now defunct) Aloha bowl this year.

Actually no offense Darts but your in lala land. You keep taking threads and turing them into "we are bashing chizik and loving Mac" thread and it's really not the case.

I love Mac and thought his time was up here at ISU.

I love Chizik now. He is the Man. Move past it man. We all like Chizik. We realize Mac did not leave much. No outgoing coach does leave much. That is usually why they are the Outgoing coach.
