Re: I have jumped on the USF bandwagon
Somehow you have turned this into a Mac vs. Chizik. Mac should be head coach at Iowa State. Mac is this and that. It's none of the above. It's I hope Mac does good at USF because he is a good guy. He did the best he could while here. He has now moved on. It really is simple folks. This has nothing to do with how good or bad either Chizik or Mac are. It's good luck Mac.

DunkelIndex Sports Index NCAA Football Division 1A 1AA Power Rankings BCS football standings
For the record, here is #16 South Florida and the #101 Clones rankings by Dunkel. Minnesoata is the best 1-6 team in America. NCAA Football Division 1-A Rankings Week 7: It's OSU's Turn At The Top
In a season that has resembled a game of musical chairs, Ohio State has a turn at the top of the Index this week after easily beating Kent State (48-3) on Saturday. The Buckeyes were helped by Kentucky's triple-overtime win over previously-unbeaten LSU (43-37) that knocked the Tigers from the top spot down to No. 4. Cal also fell from the ranks of the undefeated when the Bears were beaten at home by Oregon State (31-28), dropping them to No. 13 in the Index. Moving up to No. 2 is Oregon, which powered through Washington State (53-7) behind QB Dennis Dixon's 303 total yards, while Oklahoma takes over the third spot after beating Missouri (41-31). Here are the complete rankings through the games on October 14. Looks like Oklahoma is #3, Kansas #6, Missouri #7, Kansas State #12, Texas is #25, Colorado is #28, nebraska is #63, Iowa is #74, Baylor is #90, Kent State is #97, Holey Toledo is #111 and UNI is not on this group althought they are #1 in their rating group. So which of five remaining games does Austen start? TEAMRATINGRECORDCONF. RECORDCONF.

It's not that, Know, at all. It's the way you phrased it.
It's the lack of accountability that man was ever held to, by Cyclone fans. Now you come on with, guys I talked to him, and it's OK with him if you want to be S Florida fans.
If Mac was the "Cyclone" that everyone claims him to be (I don't know enough to answer that), hell, even the "great guy" that everyone proclaims. Then he should have said thank you, but make sure you root for the Cyclones first, fill JTS, and get them a win (he may have, you didn't portray it that way). Instead the guy is doing all of the media he can, talking about talent, and getting himself in all kinds of newspaper stories (again ever the self promoter).
If I were Gene Chizik, to see all of theses a$$hole papers, and radio stations allowing him on the air, but never discussing what he left behind, I'd be furious. Fortunately, Gene TRULY is TOO CLASSY FOR THAT.

I still cannot believe they think Turner Gill and Buffalo at #94 are better than the #101 Cyclones.

Re: I have jumped on the USF bandwagon
As long as the coach is a nice guy that's all I really care about. That and beating Iowa. I'd much rather have a nice guy coach who gets us to a few middle tier bowl games than a mean coach that makes us endure lots of winning seasons.

You sir are Dan McCarney's wet dream.
BTW, I got the sarcasm (at least I hope it was sarcasm).

And Dan McCarney is my wet dream as well. -

Wow, just wow.
It's not just you nothing, but this thread set me over the edge, nice way to start a birthday huh??
What was handed to him?

Re: I have jumped on the USF bandwagon
Two Big 12 North titles.
And probably a couple of beatings in the championship game.

Re: I have jumped on the USF bandwagon
Oh , and more than any Iowa State coach before him.

If there is sarcasm in that statement....great funny post! If you are serious....it makes me want to throw my TV out the Window that people would think something so.....I can't even say it. I just want to win.....I don't care who is at the helm.
