    Re: OWH: Nebraska AD Candidates

I have to agree that the names on that list would really have to think the NU job is the best in the country to leave and I don't see that being the case. It's probably one of the hardest AD jobs in the country and one I'm sure none of those guys would want to leave their place to take over.
A program isn't built on one player and it doesn't succeed because of one player, thus a program won't fail if it doesn't get that one player.

    Re: OWH: Nebraska AD Candidates

"the Husker football legend will have full control over the athletic department until at least next summer and maybe longer, University of Nebraska-Lincoln Chancellor Harvey Perlman said."

That tells me that the football coaching situation will be resolved before the new AD is hired.
“We’ve got a pretty good football conference, and we’ve got a pretty good conference overall. We’re still walking around with our heads held high and our chest out, about that.” Paul Rhoads
