    Recruiting question

So far ISU has 2 QB commits for the 2008 class. I love competition at positions, but does anyone think that ISU will get another commit from a QB? For name purpose I would love to see Jack Elway come to ISU. I also saw a highlight of him playing in CO and the kid has a gun! He threw a pretty deep pass and hit his WR perfectly in stride. How does Elway to Hamilton for the touchdown sound??

One of the QB commits I see is Jerome Tiller, is he going to stay as a QB when he comes to ISU? He has 4.47 speed and is 6'3" and weighs 184. He could turn into a HUGE safety or WR. Any thoughts or is he coming to ISU as a QB only?

    Re: Recruiting question

If he can run 4.47 without falling down and throw well, he will stay a qb. He will bulk up to 210.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style.

I don't see us taking another QB. I see Land switching to the secondary and Tiller and Jordan duking it out.

I think Land was recruited as a safety anyway.

I keep saying. High School QBs are the best athletes. The more the better.

Today I looked at Jack Elway's Rival profile and it doesn't say anything about ISU anymore. Is there any new info about him?

    Re: Recruiting question

I would chance a scholly on Elway's son if he's made it this far anyway. John was a freak of an athlete, he could have played pro baseball and perhaps BB as well.

I've heard comparisons of Jack and John Elway to Phil and Chris(sy) Simms. John was twice the QB than Phil Simms

What ever happened to Jawarski's son? I know we weren't recruiting him but wasn't he supposed to be a stud QB too?

I wouldnt count on it. Id expect him to go to arizona state, but even if he doesnt go there i doubt hes coming here unless we have made up some serious ground. And I believe that jj is from florida not california.

Any word if we're still in the running for BJ Daniels? I would gladly take him along with the other QBs.
