The sources were quoted as saying that Israeli F-15 and F-16 jets provided cover for the US planes. The sources added that each US plane carried one tactical nuclear weapon and that the site was hit by one bomb and was totally destroyed.

Aren't there some type of monitoring devices that would tell us whether nukes were used in Syria?

I would highly doubt that. When North Korea was doing underground testing, monitoring stations all over the place picked up the vibrations and were able to pinpoint the approximate size. Syria would be all over that in the news if they detected the slightest bit of radiation. Besides, why use a tactical nuke when you can achieve the desired effect with conventional arms?

Exactly. If we used a nuke of any kind, it would be a HUGE story that would be impossible to cover up.

Complete and utter b.s.. Typical Arab attempt to cover for their own failures and assuage their egos. It's not POSSIBLE for a "filthy Jew" country to conventionally strike a "secure site" without the help of the "all-powerful and evil US" or a "nuclear weapon."

Kind of like a "our team lost because the other guys cheated" excuse that fans sometimes use when their team gets blown out.
