Mostly news we already know, but something to check out before the game tomorrow if you are not up to speed on the new pre-game activities.
Make sure you check out the video link on the page. You can see the new logo at the 50. You also hear the warning siren although the "siren" sounded more like a battleship call to general quarters.
i'd rather have the P.A. announcer get on and just say something rather than that stupid sound.. "There is a cyclone warning in the area, it will reach ames in 60 minutes" and then the loud annoying sound that the national weather service uses when they announce a warning.. i think that would be great.. or even something that at least sounded like a tornado siren.. not no submarine crap.. lets hope that it is not the sound that they played, but i'm assuming it is.. either way, I'm real excited because in 24 hours we will be celebrating a cyclone victory!!
The siren stinks! I"m kind of embarrassed and hope it sounds better in person. I think it's a great idea, but the athletic dept needs to find something a bit more realistic.
You guys are being way to critical of nothing. Wait until you hear it in person and then make a decision. I love it and once it is added with the new entrance and the awesome logo, then it will all come together. Wait until tomorrow then you can pass judgement.

If they're going to go to the trouble of setting off this siren, they should do it right, but instead it sounds like we're being attacked by Japan at Pearl Harbor.

Also heard that instead of coming down the side they will be coming out the south doors of the jacobsen building. And because the players requested it stayed, they will still be coming out to the Twilight Zone song.
