Hooray. And the justified 'overrated' chants fill New Jersey...I love it!

Now OU will be gunning for the #2 spot this Sunday. Great. Hope for upset diminishing. All they needed is more motivation.

I don't think that matters very much....slim already left town long ago.

You do realize that Rutgers had a pretty good team last year, and they've been stout so far this year, right?

I realize they haven't played very well this year and have lost TWICE at home already.

Bring it...teams in the top 3 are just 15 and 5 this year. We are due.

Re: Thank God. USF dies.

And they are an "overrated" team that has wins against West Virginia and AT Auburn...hardly anyone else in the nation has that impressive of a resume. That being said, they sure won't be #2 anymore. Boston College doesn't really impress me and I hope they don't overtake their spot. Their most impressive win is at Georgia Tech, and they just eeked out a win over Notre Dame, if you wanna talk about "justified overrated" chants.

Well, there really are only 2 options...lose which we all expect and even by 50 won't be a surprise or win and shock the world. Until there is only one option I will still plan on attending even if slim and none won't be there.

Re: Thank God. USF dies.

I'm sure Stanford didn't feel great about their chances of going into USC after losing to Arizona State by 6 TDs the week before AND they didn't have their starting QB.

On paper, we have no business being within 35 points of OU, but things don't always work out that way. I'm just hopeful we get off to a good start and have a prayer going into halftime.

As for USF, I really thought they'd win tonight. I don't like USF but I wanted to see them slip through the cracks of the system and play for a Nat'l title just for fun. Now they have zero chance.

I'm in favor of a continuous clock. I think Stoops will want to one up Texas.

Not to mention taking great joy in sticking it to Chizik since he was at UT. Stoops might have had a soft spot for his old buddy Dan. Gene, not so much.

Emphasis on last year...which means nothing this year.

As for being stout...up until last night the wins were Buffalo, Navy (actually an OK team), Norfolk St., and Syracuse. With losses to Maryland and Cincinnati. Not sure that qualifies as "stout" in my book.

I cheer for two teams, Iowa State and whoever is playing the hawkeyes.

And close games against Elon and Florida Atlantic...please.

Many are bringing up the USF win at Auburn as being the best out of conference victory by a team this year...I could not disagree more. The LSU wood shed beating of Va. Tech 48-7 (and it wasn't even that close) is, in my opinion, the top out of conference win this year. I will be laughing my hind end off when Va. Tech puts the beat down on BC next week!

I cheer for two teams, Iowa State and whoever is playing the hawkeyes.
