Definitly raises an eyebrow, but there is no way to know. Best of luck to Trent.

I would have really liked for him to come here but, I dont even know that we even need anybody for the 09 class. Unless we have some defections in the offseason I say we just bank the schollie for the 2010 class. cause there is gonna be alot of talent in that class

I gotta be honest, if the number 1 priority of a recruit is the social life, i'm not certain we want him playing for ISU. That's got problems written all over it.
I went to ISU because of it's kick-a$$ engineering program. I could have cared less about its social aspect. And i had a lot of fun too.

Arizona State is so nice though that if you go there you will get caught up in the action. The weather is great. The school is good. The chicks are so smokin hot. Then your asking an 18 year old male athlete to come live there for free. Get his school paid for him. Yeah maybe he made the wrong basketball desicion but imho he made a good choice for living a fun life.

I visited ASU while I was at ISU, and it is a amazing campus and the night life and the women are amazing down there, like has been already said here. Can't say I fault him in his decision =/

Kylan Loney (Steve's daughter) went down there and played a ton. On a side note, I once entered a 3 on 3 tourney with her and we were the only team with a girl out of like 25. We ended up in 3rd place overall and she is not a girl I would want to get into a scrap for a loose ball with!

I don't think it's fair for us to read his mind and then rip him for his decision.

Was his reason in print or is this word of mouth. I didn't read this anywhere, at least not in his Rivals articles.

I worked a few miles away from ASU for 3 years and we went there for lunch several times. I don't have enough fingers or toes to count the times we didn't want to go back to work.

I know two people that went to ASU. Both of them flunked out. The reason? The nightlife.
