I don't think LSU was admitting that South Carolina was better than them - they were just trying to put points on the board.

Every once in a while they aren't bad, to keep the other team off balance, but relying on them to win a game is like relying on a top fuel dragster to take you to the grocery store. When it works it's incredible, but the odds of you actually getting the groceries back home on a regular basis are pretty slim. Darn. I was still hoping to fool the opposing teams into thinking that we actually have the same talent as they do. Running the same bland plays mano-y-mano and getting our lunch handed to us makes for such an enjoyable Saturday.

Anytime you can make your opponent look bad is a major league pickup. Also they break the monotony. After all the complaints we had about the predictable play calling we had with the prior coaches, you'd think we should demand more trick plays.
I'm all for them. Keep 'em guessing.

I like a few trick plays sprinkled in the mix. It keeps the defense honest if nothing else.
