Okay it must be Ernest Ferguson.....
His stats - 6'-0" 220 out of florida, 4.6 forty....Outside Linebacker.... Ernest Ferguson - Football Recruiting
I didnt know it but he was in town last weekend for an official visit.
Everything on him sounds good, fast, decent size, could be a bit taller, but stout....oh yeah and he's from Florida so he's not playing 7 man football!!!!
I love getting recruits out of Florida and Texas, the competition they face tougher competition week in and week out.....
After losing Ellington to those pesky scavenging birds to the east, this is a good pickup and something we needed....
But, don't give up on big Joe we need him, don't let those cheeseheads steal him away....

Scout says he has offers from ISU, WVU, and Ole Miss. They say he visited WVU, but they seem a lil off on the fact he supposedly visited ISU Sept. 21st, so who knows if he did visit WVU or if he even had an offer. I like the fact that Chiz and staff may be recruiting players that are this many stars or that many stars, what they all are, Athletes!!!!!
I mean if were have a kid to commit to us to play linebacker and right now he's a two way player at the 5-A level in florida and also happens to play Running back, that simply shows he has some serious skills.
Now if were able to sign Joe Marshall and get another guy who's visiting this weekend Doran Guillory who i think would grow into tackle our DL group will be impressive...

The efforts by our staff to address the Dline indicates that this is a position they felt needed to be the baseline for top tier teams.
Our D-line is going to be what Chiz needs there - athletes....splash in a lil Rashon Parker and mark these words... I think Chiz and his staff will be making a few pro caliber players out of this group if it comes together.....
I'm still excited......recruiting is so much funner then playing Texas and Oklahoma back to back, the fun part will be when we field a team that not only competes but pulls the upset from time to time!!!!
