I saw a thread about text updates that was closed so I could not reply, so here is another way.
All you need to do is text "Cyclones" to 44636 (4info). Its free, and you get instant results.
You can use this for weather, or about anything else you like. If you go to their website, you can select options such as scoring alerts, etc.
I've been using it for a few weeks now for scores and weather. For weather, text "weather" followed by the zipcode.
They do not put your # on any telemarketing lists, etc.
