If anyone in or near sioux city knows if the game may be on at a bar or anything, I would greatly appreciate the knowledge. I really want to see this game!

I believe that you would have to travel to a town that has MediaComm like Cherokee, or maybe Remsen.

I would like to know if there is anywere in the Omaha council bluffs area that will be airing the game. Please, someone let us know. I am sick of the damn Huskers being the only thing on.

Nope, closest Mediacom towns to the Bluffs are Red Oak, Shenandoah, and Glenwood.

Glenwood is obviously the closest to omaha (20 miles south). Now you just need to find the bar that has it on in Glenwood. Any suggestions/confimations of the game for Cykueck from the group?

I have heard from a few people that Bob Rowe's will have it on. I don't know if that's true or how that will be possible unless it's on satellite.

In Le Mars, we have Mediacom, but do NOT get the Mediacom Connections channel on which the game is being shown. I talked to customer service and they weren't sure why that is!!

For the poor Omaha person left out from others who are attending , call DJs Dugout about 6:00 and they will tell you if they can pull in the satellite uplink that will be shown on mediacom.

I made a few calls and very few people even knew what game I was talking about. (disappointing) I did find one bar, Cheers, that gave me a very weak, "I think so" Good enough for me. I'll be leading the cheering section at Cheers in Glenwood tonight.

I think the ISU Athletic Dept. is WAY!!!! To cozy with Mediacom! Who the hell is calling the shots. We went through this with BVV. If you live outside central Iowa ,they don't seem to give a sh--!!

Mediacom owns the rights and they can sit on them.
Talked to an avid fan this morning. He made a good point. DJs Dugout in Bellevue was the only one sports bar in the area able to pick up the uplink broadcast out of about 20 sports bars in town. Most have more limited equipment. So mediacom bar of choice in Omaha area. The fan also said Seneca Wallace was playing at the same time in the bar on the next TV over. Two Clone qbs at the same time.......

It is unbeliable to me that Jamie Pollard allowed the Omaha Council Bluffs area to be left out of the broadcasts (think Cox), Stevie Hicks and Jon Davis and Phillip Bates were recruits from the area. No covergae for the nbext three Mediacom games unless som e more deals are cut. Hey Jamie....

Lots of ISU grads live in the area....and nice to show Big Red their competition.

The Omaha-Council Bluffs market is huge and has terrible Cyclone coverage. Omaha 590 sports radio was in Ames live in the afternoon, so there is some effort. (CycloneReport and CycloneNation were interviewed, but, I didn't hear Jeremy) There needs to be a decent radio signal and cable in this market. Sioux City is another natural market which hasn't been on board. The Sioux City area is seen as a Husker market and NU is the featured college broadcast on both sides of the river. The AD seems to value broadcast coverage, so, I trust this will improve in the future. $$$ spells sponsors, can the Cyclone Clubs help?
