was not able to latch on to a flight out of Heathrow last night (damn you standby!) so I will miss my first game in 6 years.

and since it will be 1am in the morning here at the time of kickoff...and I am quite certain that Mediacom's empire does not reach these golden shores...I shall be at the local establishment with my old friend in tow drowning my sorrow.

So live it up and bring forth the fight song with united strength...and perhaps " And when we hit the line we'll hit it hard, every yard for I-S-U" will be heard over the din of lame jukebox tunes and sad whispered offerings of the feminine kind.
