Well, the atmosphere for the Texas game looked pretty lame on the broadcast, but a poor performance and dreary weather can take responsibility for that one. I thought both the Iowa and Oklahoma games looked fantastic!

Just wait until next year when the true art of sneaking booze in will begin, as no pass outs will available. At least concession sale will go up.

Increased sale of mixers for what's in your flask.

You know, we got a lot closer parking this year, and I have not left once. It is just not worth it to quickly chug a beer down.

According to the release all 5 big 12 games will be televised the 2 games will either be abc 2:30 and abc 7pm or if one does not get picked by abc it will be a split national with the nebraska kansas game on fsn
Re: Another 11:30 Kickoff at home
What's with all of our home games being televised? I realize it's great for fans who don't live around Ames, but I'm tired of listening to all of our away games on the radio! :realmad:
Re: Another 11:30 Kickoff at home
For all of the die-hards that are there when the lots open, 11:30 games suck. No human being should have to get up at 4:00 every other Saturday. Of course, we still do this all in the name of ISU Football.
Re: Another 11:30 Kickoff at home
"You ladies can sleep all you want from December-August. You only get 7 home games in 12 months, treasure them."
Totally agree. I will never compain about getting up to watch college football.

All I've been hearing about yesterday/today is how people saw me on TV...
People I work with
People in my Major
People form high school I haven't talked to in a few years
I had literally only been in the student section for about a minute when the put me on :spinny: (I had been up in section D 1st - 3rd quater... went to the student section for the 4th)
Given some of the other people I know that got put on TV during our 3 games... I'd our school is getting represented pretty well...
Crowd has also done a good job cheering in atleast 2 of our games...
(After all a crowd of screaming nut jobs on camera when we're down 40 some points on a cold rainy day has to say SOMETHING)
Re: Another 11:30 Kickoff at home
As for the kick off time... I'm tired of this whole 11:30 thing, could really go for a 2:00 kick off. Thats just me

Amen!!! I get up at 4:30 every morning, it would be nice to sleep till at least 6:00 am some Saturday home game. But, we'll be there bright and early Nov. 3, "in the name of ISU Football".
It should be a great game!!!
Re: Another 11:30 Kickoff at home
I absolutely positively love 1130 games. Get up a little early a little tailgating and then the game is over early afternoon .. hustle home and catch the games on tv.
A perfect saturday of college football!
