Last 5 QBs against kNU
In Sunday's Lincoln Journal-Star
"In facing mobile QBs in their last five games, the Husker defense has allowed those QBs 1,795 total yards.
McGee (A&M) - 167 rushing, 267 total yards, no turnovers
Robinson(Okie St) - 267 total yards, 2 TDs, no turnovers
Daniel (Missery) 401 passing, 473 total, no turnovers
Brett Meyer - 281 passing, 309 total, 3 turnovers
Davis (Ball St) - 422 passing, 479 total, 1 turnover
I do like where our offense is going. If it wasn't for all the turnovers hard telling what kind of year we would have had.

Its stats like that and games like the oklahoma game that make me wonder if we'll ever see what exactly Brett Meyer is made of.

Re: Last 5 QBs against kNU
I think we've already seen what Bret Meyer is made of. He's reached his plateau. Still a decent QB, but not amazing like we all thought he could be.

Yeah, I would love to see Brett succeed more. Did I read right that he was 2nd all time in Big XII passing yardage?

And it doesn't matter, cause he can't bring us the only stat that matters.

Instead of bagging on Bret for underachieving, I am really starting to realize how lucky we were that he was greatly overachieving at an early age.
