lets move on..it was ugly but we'll take it.. a loss would have killed
kudos to toledo and our offense wasn't too shabby..
special teams and defense need some work..
i was proud with how stevie hicks played, i'd like to see us pass more in the coming weeks, like the beginning of the game when we had great success.
1-0 baby... g'night everybody

Just got back from the game. Was it just me or did it seem like Bret ran WAY too much. He has to learn to stay in the pocket longer. It was VERY UGLY. But a win is a win and I will take one any day.

I think Meyer is a good runner - his runs were important two years ago and last year I thought he didn't run enough. Tonight, he ran for three TD's - gives the defense something else to think about.

Why not us?

He scored 3 of the TD's and one 2 point conversion. Seems that worked real swell to me.
Last year Meyer did not run enough...or...run at the right times. So far this season....he's looking great.

Just got back from the game about half an hour ago.
The most intense, and nerve racking game I've ever been to. My knees were buckling big time.
I knew our defense was gonna be young, but OH MY GOD! That was PATHETIC!
Flynn bias aside, it took the whole game to get the ball to Blythe?
Oh and, where the hell was Kock?! He was in what... one play, as a blocker for Stevie, when it was 4th and 2? Uh.. Okay.

A couple interesting quotes from Toledo.
Toledo Head Coach Tom Amstutz Both defenses played very well. Toledo QB Chris Cochran Their defense is good, too. They were giving me trouble all night. Okay, we may have pressured you, but we couldn't defend the pass if our life depended on it
I was somewhat serious when I made this comment at the game "Can we put Blythe in as a Corner? I mean, then maybe our CBs could bat down a ball or *GASP* intercept one?
