Red shirt Question

I am out of the loop on this one. Have the coaches reported on anyone who is sitting out on a red shirt this year turning heads at practice or at least looking like they may contribute for 2008?

I thought I heard Chizik say a few weeks ago on the radio they would only sign 3 Jucos with the 22 available scholorships.

Wow!! If Chiz is only thinking of signing 3 jucos, I would think he must be pretty happy with the players now on campus that are coming back next year, including the ones buried in the weight room. This makes me more optimistic for next year.

Or Chizik is playing for year 3 and 4.

I haven't researched this, but there may be a class balance issue. With the limit of 25 scholarships per year, you don't want to have more than 25 scholarship players in a class or you may end up not being able to replace every scholarship.
