Watching this season unfold, I realized that if you take these three team parts and merge carefully:
1. Iowa Offense - ranked above two of the bigger team at #117 thanks to Ken the Coach
2. Nebraska Defense - ranked above 4 other team at #115 and by far worst on their history thanks to Kevin the Coach
3. Iowa State Special teams - pretty much last in all categories in the Big 12.
Take the core of these three groups and you have a fairly bad team.

North Texas D is way worse than the Nebraska D.
You might be able to say worst BCS team, but there are a LOT of bad teams in the mid-majors.

Looks like about 500 yards defense, 300 yards offense, and turnover margin of -2. Makings of a winner.
