QB situation???

I know Meyer has been playing a bit better (stupid pass that was intercepted against OU) but with these four remaining games, do we consider playing one of the younger guys to get them real game experience or do we continue with Meyer? If Mizzou jumps out on us, i think we should make a switch and see if the youngster can spark something....

Bates is out with broken ribs... And Chizik is still holding AA back because of his foot or ankle or something.

Why are there 3 questions marks to this??? Anyway, if you listen to our coach Chizik, the we in the statement "we considering playing one of the younger guys" is Chizik and WeChizik has said over and over and over again that he'll play whoever gives us the best chance to win. Right now, that would be Meyer.

i fully understand the public relations aspect of saying "Were going to play the guy that gives us the best chance to win" what i'm asking is several weeks ago there was a lot of commentary regarding when and if meyer should be pulled for a change of pace. Obviously with the comments mentioned earlier, thats not possible now with the other qb's being dinged up.....guess i didnt know that Arnaud and Bates injuries were as serious as they are,

its friday, relax a bit pulse - do you need a hug.......

I do, its been a long week. Sorry. I would love to see Arnaud in if he was healthy, and I have a feeling he would be.

Pulse i can relate - trust me....in an office of 11, one of my subordinates and our accountant decided they should have a lil fling...PROBLEM WITH THAT - both were married - So now that both spouses know, one resigned monday and the other has been in my office everyday telling me how stupid he was.....ahhhh yeah!!!!

So its been a stressed week of consuling for me....i will be happy to see my friend captain morgan this evening.....

While Chizik isn't ready to roll over and give up... once AA is healthy I would like to see him get a few decent snaps. However, despite being ready for a new QB... if Bret is still the best then I still want him in there

Oh we will fight, fight, fight for Iowa State, and may her colors ever fly!

OMG! Nothing that dramatic happened to me, however my brother just moved into my basement this weekend... so I'm coming to terms with that.

Remember the last time Arnaud came in (Texas?) and he rocketed a couple of passes. I was shocked at the difference in the speed he puts on the ball. I don't think the receivers adjusted to how hard he threw it. I think Arnaud is going to be a pleasant surprise next year.

I hope your right......The position i'm most worried about on O is qb.....

Just keep tiller in mind, similar size to Arnaud 6'3 185 but 4.45 speed not 4.83....

Sumrall was open in the endzone. The pass got tipped at the line.

Id love to see one of the younger guys be put in, but I'd also like a shot at another W and I'm not sure if either of those two can deliver one any better than meyer.

Bret is the best we have, just like shaggy per Gene.

EIU is the other Okoboji University for serious students and home of Captain Kirk who pilots the Enterprise on its Trek through the Universe for finding his next great job. Captain, beware of your Superbowl.
