#2 If you want a HD DVR than make sure you tell the CSR that you have to have the HR20 not the HR21. The HR21 is the latest receiver but it doesn't include OTA.
#3 Try to get everything that you need at the beginning because that's when they offer you the best deals, even if you're a good customer.
#4 If I was a new customer in my situation I would try to get 2 HD DVR's and just a standard reicever. I have 2 HD TV's and a SD in the bedroom. I think with enough haggling and a 2 year commetment I could get this for around $300
#5 Get the slimline dish
#6 If they won't offer you a good deal than start asking for things like free HD for a year. That will save you $120.
