Let me repeat that...42,531...for a team with a 49,000 seat stadium...season opener...high expectations...
We can talk about the positives/negatives on the field but to me, this number is unacceptable. Why are we spending tons of money to bowl in the south endzone when we can't fill up what we've already got?? To make a few extra bucks when we do sell out to Iowa/Nebraksa???
42,531...unbelievable.

Bowling in doesn't add hardly any capacity it is all about the revenue. I don't know I think attendance was solid for a Thursday night. If its 42 at UNLV I will be concerned

hmmm, i thought it looked pretty full. the hillsides were covered...just the corners looked empty.

Screw the attendance photos... those pics do sound interesting.
In all honesty though, I'd love to see any photos people have of the game. Living in Colorado sucks sometimes.

The other side of the stadium had more people in the corners than that i believe. Except the visitors section was completely empty. I thought we would be a lil closer to 44k but it seems right i guess.

Weren't all of those seats in that picture Toledo's 2,000 to 3,000 tickets that they are supposed to sell?
If that is the case then I am really pleased with the attendence numbers. It look very full last night.
