One time I ate an entire grande combo (ten tacos) plus a mexican pizza at a Taco Bell down in Georgia before we started driving back to Iowa. In Illinois I started throwing up and didn't stop for about 24 hours -- that was the most sick I've ever been. Ever since Taco Bell lost some of its appeal for me, but a free taco, that might be too good to pass up.

Got to watch yourself. In highschool I ate a six pack and a pound from Taco Johns and have been scared of potato oles ever since. I tell you what, one of the hardest things I have ever had to do was to swallow that last ole.

This thread really hurts.... hearing all of you put down the ames Taco bell....
I worked there when I lived in ames from about late 2001 till 2004 ish. And most of these comments are un founded for the most part. Except that guy asking for the extra hot sauce I think I remember that one lol. While it is the oldest Taco bell in the state, We kept it nice and clean.

Factor in your ER room copay into that free taco. I would advise against it.

Nice....we have all become obedient submissives on here. Its almost funnier to watch us say what we would have said but change out the expletives with warm and fuzzy words.

I for one love taco bell! The Taco Bell in Gainesville is open 24 hours...Only thing is they wouldnt let 39 cent (at the time) Taco Sunday start untill 6 am... Don't know how many times we went drunk at 2 am demanding 10 tacos for $3.90...

It was on the way back from the bowl game in Phoenix in 2000...starting in Texas.
I still haven't eaten at Arby's. -

Several times we have walked home from 3rd Base and its right on the way. The lobby is closed but the drive through is open.
If anyone has any ideas, let me know. And don't say ask someone in the drive thru line to buy you some tacos because that doesn't go over so well.

Is Taco Bell or Taco John's better?

I find that at least 75% of the Taco Bells I have been to are extremely dirty. Probably 30% of the Taco Johns I have been to are dirty.

Re: I love free taco bell, especially on Tuesday Oct 30
Taco Johns is probably better for Tacos and that is it... Burritos, nachos, quesadilla's, etc. I would go with Taco Bell hands down! I can see past the dirty part as it seems the dirtier a place is the better the food is. Anyone who has ever been to Taco Casa (Euclid and MLK) can definately agree with me there...
