So, is this officially set to begin on November 11th? I seem to recall JP saying construction would begin "the day after the final home football game".
I am curious - does anyone know if they will have webcams in place for crazy CF'ers to monitor the construction progress? | Arrived in STL via Ames, IA & Bloomington, IN! |

They had the web cames for the indoor practice facility so I imagine they will for this as well.

I don't think Phase II has a date set... just approval to move forward once we have the funding.
Note the 2nd half of that sentance... that will determine when phase II goes through probally - that or our attendance numbers, which is closely linked to raising the funding (Since the entire project is being funded by ticket sales and private donations)
EDIT
Cost of Phase II still hasn't even been determined so... Facility Master Plan - Iowa State University Athletics Official Web Site - www.CYCLONES.com - Iowa State Cyclones Sports
That'll better explain things...

East side concourse expansion and RRs and consessions on east side are included in the phase II work, along with the bowling in of the south endzone.

Looks like prices have to go up for south end bowling. No single game sales for nebraska fans next year?

I think the timeline is for Hilton Phase 1 to begin before Jack Trice Phase 2 does. So I imagine it will be 2010 or so before phase 2 Jack trice happens, unless the 50k per game average hastens the bowling of the end zone.

If you won the lottery would you donate a portion of your winning to these projects? If the answer is yes how much?
I'm guessing the lottery is the only way my fellow CF'ers could donate a substantial (1mil +) sum.

If you are not a member of the NCC, every $100 a year adds up in the long haul.
Just think there are approximately 200,000 living alumni. If half of those people dontate $100/year, that would be $10,000,000/year in funds for the athletic department.
Since we do not have a Boone Pickens, it is going to take a lot more of us individually to get our friends and relatives to joine the NCC even if it is only $100/year.

How funny would that be? They give you an award between quarters thanking you for your generous donation...
