Ecuador wants military base in Miami

Does this sound fair?

Ecuador's leftist President Rafael Correa said Washington must let him open a military base in Miami if the United States wants to keep using an air base on Ecuador's Pacific coast.

There is a German fighter squadron stationed in Nevada. Basing foreign troops isn't a "new" concept for the US.

And "fair" (how I hate that immature, oversensitive, sophomoric word!) has nothing to do with it. The air base in Ecuador benefits that country, and that area, in addition to assisting in the US self-interest. They don't want it, fine.

But when South America collapses, yet again, because their ignorant populations tolerates yet another crackpot communist revolutionary set of government,s I say we wall it off and let them stew in their own misery. Oops, I meant to say "worker's paradise."
