Flags half-staff?

Who knows why the USA flag was at half-staff at the stadium? I also saw one at a business on my way out of town.

I was told it was because of a fallen soilder from Iowa.

It was in honor of a fallen soldier from my home town of Glenwood.

I vaguely heard the anouncer at the game say something about Chet Culver and a fallen soldier from Iowa today at the game. However, the crowd was cheering so loud and I think the band was still playing, so I couldn't hear anything else. Good timing on that announcement.

That's one of the drawbacks to not reading the Register or watching local news, I hadn't heard about this. God bless him and his family.
