Re: Congrats Clones!
K-State fans have eaten as much humble pies as ISU fans over the years. Winning is what can bring on arrogance and they really didn't start doing that until the late 90's. Wish all of the fan bases were like that.

And Chizik looks damn good on the sidelines. So why do you call yourself fatty4ksu? Are you Josh Freeman?

I sure hope the coaching staff doesn't think the team can't play better than they did against KSU. The only difference between the KSU game and several others that were lost this year is the TOs and the fact that the defense scored. The Clones still had a quarter of the game when the Offense was in a coma, and the defense wasn't much better. You may be right, that may be the very best game ISU can play. Let's hope not.

I agree, I sure hope they can play better. Not sure if they WILL, but I think they CAN. For example, IIRC the O-line really had their way with the KSU front and LB's in the first half. Robinson had some decent creases to run through and I noticed our O-lineman getting good contact with their front seven on a cionsistent basis. However in the 2nd half, either they figured us out or our O-line was getting tired (or a combination of the two) as the line of scrimmage didn't move nearly like it did in the first half.

We had TERRIBLE field position most of the third quarter so we werent a threat to do much other than run. KSU sold out on the run and we were stuffed.

Re: Congrats Clones!
You're right, we didn't have good field position in the 3rd quarter, however outside of the fumble recovery at the beginning of the game, we didn't have great field position on or scoring drives in the firts half (scoring drives of 90 and 68 yards). If KSU was selling out on the run, it's too bad we couldn't recognize it sooner and call plays accordingly.

Re: Congrats Clones!
Thanks. The win was a huge lift. I like Arnaud, and think he'll be a good one. But I'm also grateful to Meyer for the kind of career he's had at ISU (2nd or 3rd in Big 12 history in total offense). He was the first to congratulate Arnaud on the sidelines for his success. I may be in the minority, but I think Meyer has a shot at making an NFL roster.
