reported on CR front page and message boards. now is where we all start guessing at who it is until it comes out to the public in about 2 hours.

We all remember making fun of our little brother. And then that day came when you looked at him and thought "Crap, when did he become taller than me?" There comes a time when you just know your time has passed and it's their spotlight now.

This may be wrong, but I think they finally added Ernest Ferguson to their list. This may be the new commit.

Here's a gameday pic of Big E..... PostPix: Palm Beach Post and South Florida Photos
The thing i like is at the HS level he's playing RB/LB which translates to great vision and speed....obviously a florida kid with those assets patrolling the middle for our defense will be a playmaker....
Great job Staff, now use this W to score a few more....i had heard that Joe Marshall was in town and he's from the same hometown as Chiz, any word on if someone seen a recruit walking around that looked to be about 6-4 325???? That would be a plugger for the middle that allows our LBs to run free.....i would love to see this guy on our list....

Being a RB/LB lets you see both sides of the field. You have a better idea as a RB how to get the LBs to bite and as a LB you have a better feel how a RB is going to run

We've got our names in with several 2-3 star lineman, obviously Mack would be at the top of that list unless of course Chiz pulls off another coup and gets Dan Hoch to switch his committment from Nebraska to ISU....which by the way, Hoch was in Iowa City on an official trip two weeks ago.....if i were going to take an official to just see whats out there, i would have taken it to somewhere more interesting like a SEC school. What this shows is he may very well be shopping himself....get'em chiz....be a great addition and get national recognition for ISU to steal a Nebraska recruit thats rated as a 4 star....
But i think we look really good with Kraig Bates, Mack, and i would love to see us get either Steven Robinson or Zach Wilson. Robinson's rated higher and a lot of competition for him, but, Wilson looks the part and by his stats, 30 reps and benchs 360 while still in a solid frame of 6-5 310, he must be put together....I think we get 2-3 of these guys and were done with the O-line for sure.

Chizik was in Harlan, last Thursday, looking at Dan Hoch, and his sophomore brother Matt, and to take a peek at the kicker, Kyle Haake (4 fgs over 40 yards this year). Dan Hoch can honor his commit, but WE WILL want his brother Matt by the time he graduates. Haake was the most athletic starter on last years basketball team, that placed 3rd at state. Harlan usually doesn't have this good looking of a football recruiting crop. We will have to see how it yields.
