It appears Fred Thompson's campaign co-chairman and friend, Philip Martin, has an interesting background. Interesting to the extent that Fred is former Assistant US Attorney (Criminal Division) and maintains a "tough on crime" political posture.

Does this mean if Thompson were elected President that he would select people to serve in government with similar credentials?
