K-State's worst loss of Ron Prince era?

According to CBSSportline.com - the game on Saturday was K-State's worst loss of the Prince era. Do you agree? What makes this the worst loss? Just because it was to ISU?

ARTICLE LINK
Kansas State suffered perhaps the worst loss of the Ron Prince era, 30-21 to Iowa State.

A program isn't built on one player and it doesn't succeed because of one player, thus a program won't fail if it doesn't get that one player.

I don't think it was just because it was to ISU... It's because it's to a 1-8 team. Of course it looks bad.

He has been there so long how did they go through all that history to come up with this...(sarcasm for those incapable of seeing it)

I don't get it, how could KU be left out of the championship game if they go undefeated? Wouldn't there only be 2 bcs schools undefeated? I thought there was a rule that an undefeated BCS school cannot be passed over for a 1 loss team for the championship game.

Besides if KU wins out, they will have beaten the #4 BCS school, so that should jump them to #2.

Never thought about that, but it probably was his worst loss at K-State. Either that or getting blown the F out in their bowl game last year could be worse

You'd have to agree with that looking at it from a losing to a 1-8 team perspective.

Well I guess, I was just dissapointed we didn't get any props - just another put-down.

A program isn't built on one player and it doesn't succeed because of one player, thus a program won't fail if it doesn't get that one player.

Yeah, but even though Baylor went 4-8 last year, losing to them 17-3 (at Baylor) isn't exactly a shining moment either.

I'd have to put that up there with worst loss.

Regardless, CBSSportsline has about zero credibility any longer in my book. I'm not a conspiracy theorist normally, but you have to think there's some sort of vendetta over there.

I got a fever, and the only prescription, is more cowbell.

Baylor wasn't horrible last year and didn't lose a game by 53 at home.

I know it stinks, but looking at that one, it's the worst lose for K-State under Prince.

But who cares, they can bounce back and still go to a decent bowl game. As long as they take care of a crappy Husker team, they have a good chance to finish 7-5, losing to Mizzu and beating Fresno State (not an easy win, but one they should get).

They got the score wrong. 31-20 not 30-21.

What was the pregame point spread anyway? That is one way to measure whether it was their worst loss of the season.

KU just needs to win out and they're in.

Are you high? K-State's not in the Big 10. About the best they can hope for with that record is a trip to the Houston Bowl (if we're still affiliated with it) - likely the Independence Bowl.

I think we need to look at it from the national perspective. People across the country only really look at the 1-8. If they dug a little deeper, they would notice that this team had played two great teams really close in the last two weeks. I will forgive them for their ignorance.

And who knows, we may inadvertantly lit a fire up their a$$ and they will take it out on Nebraska...too bad.
