Did you know their qb is really only 5-9 instead of 5-11. Kerry Meier is now a good receiver.

I think ISU is catching KU at the right time.

1) The OSU game this weekend will be no layup for KU. If OSU beats KU the perfect season for KU is gone and IMO that takes alot out of a team from a confidence and emotional standpoint. Look at S. Florida this year- they get all the way up to the top 5, lose a game and now they are struggling.

Look back on ISU when we started something like 7-0. We lost to OU and the slide started. So if KU loses that's good for ISU.

2) KU goes on the road this weekend and beats OSU. The game after the ISU game is against Mizzou at Arrowhead. Heck they are already talking about this game in KC. That makes the ISU/KU game the perfect sandwich game for the Clones.

We will be in the game. Colorado, Texas A&M, and Kansas State all played them close and those are really the only decent teams they've beat this year. I have an odd feeling that Oklahoma State might beat them.

If the game was in Ames, I'd be picking the upset. Let's wait and see how we perform vs. Colorado. With the way we are playing, I think the Colorado game is one we should win especially since it's at home.

The players do have some revenge to take care of against Kansas. The embrassment last year in Ames and, of course, 2005.

It would be so sweet to win for several reasons.
-Huge upset and coverage of the game
-Get back at them for 05
-Finish strong for next year
-ruin their senior day

Trap game written all over this one. But lets beat CU and keep the mo' going

It will be a really, really tough game to win. Kansas is a really good team. With that said, it is a trap game on their schedule, and they haven't been in this kind of spot before. It's not like they can have the built in 90's Nebraska attitude already. So I would say ISU has a great chance considering they will be 3-8

and Kansas will be undefeated and top 3 or 4.

Regardless of anything else, this team scored 76 pts on a team that beat us well enough to know that we need more talent to compete with them....I agree with the other posters...Kansas better worry about beating OSU this weekend there, and we definately better worry about beating a CU team in Ames, i can't remember the last time i thought we should beat CU in Ames, oh yeah, it was like 2001 and i was excited to watch CU in Ames, and at halftime i was in the parking lot tailgating again because we were down by 35 and that CU team wasnt that good either.....

I will wait and see which ISU team comes out Saturday.....same motivated and inspired team as last week, i will be more optimistic about CU and then onto KU.....but, it would be awesome to be the ones to take that Big 12 North Championship away from them, just as they did us a couple years back.....

Actually, we can't take the Big 12 North title away from them. They have zero conference losses, Mizzu has 1.

Even if KU loses to Oklahoma State and us - if they beat Mizzu, they would win the North (as I understand the tiebreaker).

KU holds their own destiny, even if they lose the next two games.

Won't that be funny KU losses all 3. They only need 1 win in 3 games to win the North and blow it.
