Kansas Game

I know some of you all will laugh and tell me to get off the juice.

I believe if Kansas wins this weekend, and the way Iowa State has been playing, That Iowa State will win that game when they face each other.

KU's going to have to make some mistakes and we're going to have to play perfect, but it is possible.

I don't doubt Iowa State goes down there and stays in the game for 3 quarters, but beating this KU team in their house is asking a lot with our team. I want to see us beat Colorado and whatever happens in Lawrence I'm content with.

KU has Missouri the week after they play us, so they may look ahead, since it seems that the winner of the KU/Mizzou game is going to go the Big 12 Championship game. However, if we win this weekend, I don't see where KU will be able to look at us as a for sure win....

I agree that kansas might look by us and we could steal a victory from them. We would have to play nearly perfect football to do it but the way we have been playing lately, i don't see why we couldn't do it.

I honestly don't think KU would be undefeated and in the top 10 if they had a decent schedule. They're at most a Top 25, but they're a paper tiger just waiting to be brought down.

Let's beat CU first and then talk about KU. The Buffs have played some decent ball this season and it is going to be a tough game on Saturday. But I personally don't know what to think of KU because I haven't seen them play all season.

how sweet would that be beating a top 5 team to a catapult ourselves into the 2008 season...season ticket sales would go through the roof...and i really believe kansas is beatable, i mean come on...it's KANSAS!!

I'm sure that's what Nebraska fans were saying before last week..

Beating Kansas will be a tough order. It's on the road, and they're playing for big things -- a major bowl and a possible division and conference championship. I'm not saying it's impossible, but there's no way we can expect to win just because there's a "KU" on the side of their helmets.

It has the look of a trap game, sandwiched between Oklahoma State and Missouri - but I still don't see us going down there and winning.

Then again, I didn't see us staying within 30 of Oklahoma and look what happened. We were just coming off a 53 point loss to Texas though, so we may have been overlooked.

I don't believe we're going to be overlooked anymore, playing OU and Mizzu tough, beating K-State last weekend.

Would certainly be nice though...will love being able to watch a road game on TV for a change.

Regarding Kansas, I keep hitting my head and saying, "How is this possible? It's Kansas!" That said, Mangina has done a great job. My gf loves his alligator arms.
