We were kinda hoping for snow for our last game that we body paint to.
I guess in the bigger picture the weather is good - more people should be there, but SF and I will be a bit blue that we aren't blue...

The real reason I'm upset is I always paint up for the last game, which is (usually) cold as hell. I refuse to do it for the early games because, in my opinion, anybody can slop on some paint and go "look at how supportive I am" when it's sixty and sunny. You got to sport a pair to stand outside for five hours shirtless when it's around/below freezing. Plus, the looks you get make the season worthwhile.

I also splurged and bought an ISU thermometer I had planned to wear around my neck like a Flava-Flav clock. It's useless now.

Keep in mind that we won't hit the high until mid afternoon. With a high of 58 it won't be too warm for an 11:30 kick off. Maybe mid to upper 40s? Morning tailgating will be even chillier. Wife says it is "good body paint weather".

Hey any weather that is not snowpants weather in November is good. I hate those 10 degree 30 mph wind games. That just stinks.

I agree, People yell louder when warm and recruits may be fooled how warm football is in Ames when they do not see the wind chamber effect.

We'll probably tailgate for a while after the game, buzz around campus taking some photos (I love campus in the fall) and then hit the basketball game that night.
