    Re: Anyone else like this?

I hate backseat coaching. That's pretty annoying. I'll yell at the refs and whatnot, but never at the coaches. There's a reason I'm sitting in the stands and they are coaching D1A football.

    Re: Anyone else like this?

In my opinion, it's all about doing what is appropriate. If your kid is playing a solo in Carnegie Hall and the place is full, you would want people to applaud at appropriate times. You wouldn't want a full house to sit and think about how well he/she played and not acknowledge his/her effort by sitting in total silence. You also wouldn't want some goofballs yelling that he/she sucked or should have played different selections.

The home team wants to be supported and given an edge by its fans. That includes cheering at appropriate times and creating noise to create problems for the opposing teams offense. It's great that you are there and you an analyze all you want, but if you support the team vocally, I think your experience will be greatly enhanced.
