I'm not going to complain about that at all.

What was that about our TV coverage sucking? I thought I heard some grumblings earlier in the year. Moral of the story, don't doubt Jamie Pollard.

Yes yes, it's only been one away game on tv, but we've still been on tv week to week with a record of 2-8. Can't complain about that

that's only 50% of the games on TV and only 1 road game on TV. In this day and age with technology that is pretty poor. UNI will probably be on TV more than that this year counting their playoff games.

I dunno, I have watched EVERY Iowa game...Looks like I can complain (other than watching Iowa games).

Um, we've only been on TV because of who we're playing (Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas and even Iowa), had nothing to do with us or Pollard. We couldn't even get on TV playing a pretty good Mizzu team. Personally I'm quite perplexed as to why the game this weekend is on TV.

As stated, only half of the games on TV with only one of them being a road game. Ick.

I'm not saying that there isn't opportunity for being on tv, but how many teams with similar records to us (other than Notre Dame) have been on tv the last month? It's not great, but I think it's pretty good considering our team.

I don't know if playing K-state was the sole reason we were on tv last weekend.

K-State, until Saturday, looked like a pretty solid team headed to a decent bowl game. I forgot to list that one in my previous post.

Notice the teams getting their road games broadcast when playing us. It's because their fans can't see them so they get on TV.

When we're on the road and can't see the game, no one cares except us.

I could really care less about home games being televised. I'm there in the stands watching anyway. What I do care about is not being able to watch my team for sometimes weeks at a time when they're on the road.

I pretty much forget we have a football team when they're at away games. Our TV coverage is still unacceptable, and I'm quite surprised to see so many content with it.

Only half of our games were on TV, sure. Which ones weren't?

Kent State - Thursday game, first game of the year
UNI - 1AA Team. We had just lost to Kent State. Who, outside of Iowa, would really want to watch this game?

Toledo - horrible when we played them. We had just lost to Kent State and UNI, and barely squeaked past Iowa at home.
Nebraska - Ranked team vs. a team that just lost to Toledo.
Texas Tech - a pretty boring game, as was predicted
Missouri - this blows the "it's who we played against" argument out of the water a bit

Yes, we've had mostly home games on TV. So what? It's still national exposure. I doubt you'll find many 8 loss teams that have been on TV as much as we have this year.
