AMES, Iowa – DirecTV will make available to its Sport Pack subscribers nationally on channel 619 the broadcast of Saturday’s Colorado-Iowa State game that kicks off at 11:30 a.m. CST from Jack Trice Stadium. The contest is being produced by and shown on Fox College Sports, which is can be seen by Mediacom viewers in Iowa who have the Sports Pack on channel 173. A list of Iowa cable providers that carry Fox College Sports is featured below.

Iowa State's Nov. 17 football game at No. 5 Kansas will kick off at 2:30 p.m. CST from Memorial Stadium in Lawrence, Kan. The game will be telecast on ABC-TV.

How much is the sports pack per month, I looked on DTV's website but I couldn't find the general sportspack... just specific ones for a specific sport such as gameplan and fullcourt.

Do you subscribe to any other packs? HBO, etc?

If not, it's $12/month. If so, it's $1 off for every other pack you subscribe to.

So if you already had HBO and Starz, you would pay $9/month for the sports pack.

619 is an "empty" channel on DTV. I would think it would be up to Dish network to do the same thing DTV is doing if they want to broadcast it.

I'm going to go to the Dish Network site and see if I can figure that out. That would suck royally if they don't pick it up!

My cable company down here (SudenLink) has a great Fox Sports package that comes with digital cable. So I'm very happy, I even get the GC Show before the game!

I just looked both at the Dish on line guide (internet) and the TV itself which shows the upcoming schedules and it doest NOT appear to be on Dish. Fox is covering the A&M - Missouri game. Can't same I blame them, other than us ISU fans I would like that game would garner more interest. Actually, I'm thinking of watch that. Could be a pretty good game.
