Spears has missed eight out of 14 calls telling her to show up for the court-mandated testing, argued Mark Vincent Kaplan, an attorney for K-Fed.
TMZ.com reported that Spears' lawyer, Anne Kiley, insisted that pop stars such as The Brit cannot be expected to get up at the same time that normal people do.
Kiley told Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Scott Gordon, "You are not a pop star with a number one album, so you wouldn't know," according to TMZ.com.
