Well, sounds like he'll probably be here then. I was worried for a moment. Here's a b-ball article and box score that has him in there... http://www.omaha.com/index.php?u_pg=528&u_...5&u_sid=2106961
I'd guess that if we don't sign any more guards for b-ball, we may end up relying on someone like Jacobsen and/or Russell if we get in a crunch. I'm not yet sure if that's really a bad thing.

That article is from January which is before the season was over, much less before WM was fired. I also believe that Russell would not be able to play untill after football season is over since he is on a football scholarship. Plus with the NCAA limit on practice time, he wouldn't even be able to practice with BBall team untill the football season was over.

That sounds like it's all true. I was just trying to find more info on the guy beings we only have 3 guards under scholarship (unless you count Clark or W Johnson as a SG). Good to see that he did play basketball last winter after his injury. I would hope G-Mac gives him an opportunity to basically be a walk-on if he's serious about it given our short bench.
