would this be enough to bump iowa to the 7th big 10 spot and finish thier season?

*edit* just read a previous post that says the big ten has 7 bowl tie-ins. guess it might not matter now.
Conference order doesn't make a lick of difference to the bowl selection committee. #1-#7 are just the order in which the bowls pick. They aren't bound by the finishing rankings. The only limitation is that they have to take teams with winning records (7-5 or better) before they take 6 win teams.

At this point, Iowa's season is pretty much over unless they win next week, since a win by either Northwestern, Michigan State or Indiana puts 7 teams at 7-5 or better, and odds are not good that all 3 lose. If Iowa gets to 7 wins, they are pretty much eligible for any Big 10 bowl outside of the BCS bowl (Rose). If they lose, and NW, MSU and IU all lose, they still will have a shot at the Motor City bowl, since that bowl will be able to pick a 6 win team (only 6 Big 10 teams would have 7 wins or more). That would leave NW, MSU and IU all out of bowl games, unless they can find an at-large.
